Banana Bhonda or Pazham Pori, is a popular Indian snack

Banana Bonda, also known as Banana Bhonda or Pazham Pori, is a popular Indian snack originating from Kerala, a state in South India. It is a deep-fried snack made with ripe bananas coated in a spiced batter. Treat that is enjoyed by people of all ages.
Here's a simple recipe to make Banana Bonda:

Ingredients:

Ripe bananas (the ones with brown spots on the peel work best)
1 cup all-purpose flour (maida)
2 tablespoons rice flour
1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
Water
Oil for deep frying
Instructions:

In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, rice flour, turmeric powder, baking soda, and salt.

Add water little by little and mix to form a smooth and thick batter. The consistency should be such that it coats the back of a spoon but is not too runny.

Peel the ripe bananas and cut them into halves lengthwise.

Heat oil in a deep frying pan or kadai over medium heat.

Dip the banana halves into the prepared batter, ensuring they are evenly coated on all sides.

Carefully slide the coated banana pieces into the hot oil.

Fry until the bondas turn golden brown and crispy on the outside.

Using a slotted spoon, remove the fried banana bondas from the oil and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to absorb excess oil.

Allow them to cool slightly before serving. Banana bonda is typically served hot and can be enjoyed as is or with a cup of tea.

Please note that the above recipe is just one variation of making Banana Bonda, and there might be different regional or personal variations to the recipe. Enjoy your delicious Banana
